What is Creative Studies? Anybody know about it?
Well, to be honest, I don't have any idea what is it either. "Maybe this subject is thought to boost our own creativity", I guess. Let just put this matter aside and have fun learning this subject, I think I will like this subject soon.The first day I attended this class and it was fun. The lecturers delivered the information clearly in a hilarious way. I am happy with it as I receive almost everything that lecturers wanted to deliver to us in class. I think that a hilarious way of teaching or lecture in class is the most important thing as it brings up the emotion of students and help them to understand it easily. This blog is created as lecturers want us to write down our reflection of the information that have been delivered and also want us to think of some issues that will be brought up in the class in future.This is one of the issues that has been brought up in this week(1st week):
"Why did the Titanic Hit the Iceberg?"

Honestly I'm not a fan of "Titanic" movie, so I don't really like the story and I watched it for one time 10 years ago. I will now briefly talk about the history of Titanic and the tragedy. On 15 April 1912, tragedy happened as Titanic hit an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the sea. At first, the lookout of Titanic, Federick Fleet had spotted the iceberg and immediately First Officer William Murdoch ordered to steer around the obstacles(iceberg) but it was too late. Thousands of passangers was killed. According to some hypothesis made by the historiographer, hit an iceberg was not the only reason. There are several reasons that caused this tragedy happened. One of the reason is the design of the ship while another reason is lack of lifeboats on the ship as the total amount of passangers and the ship crews is about 3300 while the lifeboats can only carry about 1178 people.
Hrrrmmmmmm... maybe it wasn't happened that way. Maybe there are many other reasons that contribute to this tragedy. Ok, why did the Titanic hit the iceberg? Perhaps, there are some problems with the ship, or maybe there are problems between the ship crews. Nothing is impossible, right? Let's think of the reasons that Titanic hit the iceberg in a creative and more interesting way.
1. The inner design of the ship is too luxury. Due to this, the weight of the ship is too heavy and make it hard to control or steer in the middle of the ocean. When encounter with the iceberg, the ship was uncontrollable and failed to evade the iceberg.
2. Ship crews were having a fight when they were approaching the iceberg. So, they didn't pay any attention with it and Titanic hit it.
3. Captain of Titanic was sleeping at that time.
4. The company of Titanic boasted that Titanic was "Unsinkable". Therefore, the captain and crews felt that Titanic was tough enough to overcome this problem but it ended up sink to the bottom of the sea.
5. Maybe there were some terrorists hijacked the ship. Just like the September 11 Attacks, the terrorists hijacked the ship forced the ship crews and captain intentionally crashed into the iceberg.
6. Ship crews were not proffesionals
The reasons above is not the actual or true about this tragedy but it is just the possible reasons that contribute to this tragedy.
Ok, there goes the first issues of this week. Now, Let's discuss about the 2nd topic that were brought up in the class.
Haha! What is this little pink stuff? I really have no idea what is it?
I can't stop laughing when I see this little stuff. It looks so funny. One of the lecturer wanted us to think about what is it. He didn't want the normal answer for it but a creative answers for it. At the first glance, I thought it was a baby pacifier, but when I took a close look at it, I don't really know what kind of thing is this.
"Maybe is an Anti-rudeness Capper! See, when I put it on my finger and point at someone, they won't feel it is rude!" ,said the lecturer. "Or maybe it is an instrument!",said the lecturer while he threw this item on different place producing different sounds.
I shall make a smart guess here. Errmmmm...... I think that the function of this item is one of the below.
1. Feel frustrated when you put up your hand in class and teachers do not pay attention to you? With this little item, you can get attention from your teacher in any time! Just simply plug it on one of your finger and put up your hand and surely teachers will notice you.
2. Finger protector. When you have any injuries at fingers, just wear this on the injured part and it will protect your finger from getting further injuries.
3. If it come along with a cover, you can store your medicines in it. It is light and also easy to carry to wherever you want.
4. Ladies should bring this along as it can use as a self defence weapon. This item is light and small enough, hence it can be bring along all the day and can bring several at a time. When they are attack by bad guys, they can throw it and hit the bad guys' face and buy some times to run away.
5. Dessert container maybe. Nowadays, there are many kinds and styles of creative dessert in the market. So, it can be use as a container or decorative for certain desserts. Desserts can be served nicely, interestingly and creatively.
